Apo Reef is a small inhabited atoll with some islands and coral rocks in the middle of the Mindoro Strait, between Busuanga Island (in Palawan) and Mindoro Island. It is only accessible by boat from Mindoro coast or live aboard cruise.

Apo Reef in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro is the world's second largest single coral reef, and the largest atoll in the Philippines. Today, it is part of Apo Reef Natural Park (ARNP), and was declared a Protected Area on September 6, 1996. Click for more info
